SPURLING Formal Wear has long been known in the region for its high quality men's suit hire service.

But the store has now expanded to include a stunning range of bridal wear and accessories, giving you the advantage of being able to get all your bridal party attire at the one convenient location.

Spurling Bridal has searched all over Australia and the world to bring you a range of the most beautiful bridal gowns, elegant bridemaid dresses and the most gorgeous flowergirl dresses.

Spurling Bridal has over 150 bridal gowns to choose from to suit each bride's individual style.

"From silhouetting slimline gowns to the big full skirt that looks like it belongs in a fairytale, we have something for everyone," manager Carmel Pasfield said.

"We are always building the number of gowns we carry and are constantly getting in new designs."

A selection of veils, jewellery, tiaras and other accessories will help the bride complete her look whether she wants to achieve a modern, romantic or distinctive style.

Spurling is a well established store that has been in operation for over 26 years (previously named Tramps Formal Hire) and some of the staff have been with the store since its inception.

"Spurling has always been a leader in creating new trends in men's wedding attire," Ms Pasfield said.

Spurling sells and hires men's suits, accessories and page boy outfits and also offers a service where they can make ties, cravats, slim boys or fat boys to match the bride or bridal party.

Spurling has stores located throughout the country, which means if you have a groomsmen in another state who needs a suit, they can go into their local Spurling store, get measured and fitted and those measurement can be sent through to the Wollongong store and a suit put aside accordingly.

"We offer the very best in customer service. It has always been a trademark of this store," Ms Pasfield said.

While some girls will purchase their dress well in advance, Spurling recommends that a bride decides on her dress around seven to 12 months before the wedding date.

"Some manufacturers take six months to make a gown. However we can order wonderful gowns exclusively from Angeline and Mancini that can be here within a week so if you have left it until the last minute there's no need to worry," Ms Pasfield said.

"We can also order an exclusive range of men's suits from Zenetti that will be received within a week."
